A day at the shooting range!

Last week I took a trip to the shooting range. I had some 30-30 rounds I had done up in a ladder test to try out. Was a new round for me to try and it went ok for the most part. I had my Labradar setup to record some data (that I haven't analyzed yet). But all in all it was fun and learned a few things along the way.
This rifle I was using was a friend of mines that I was working on building him a new hunting round. I also have a 30-30 so worked out for both of us that I also get to use. One thing I learned was that his rifle wasn't necessarily sighted in. So I spent some time with some factory rounds trying to work through it and got it as close as I could. Would be nice to get my hands on a spotting scope one of these days that's for sure. Even though I was only sighting it in for 100 yards walking back and forth gets a little old some times!!

Sounds like a solid day at the range! The back-and-forth can be tough—I’m with you on that! A good scope would definitely help; I’ve had luck finding some good gear at Shooters Supply. https://shooterssupply.com/
